Giving Guidelines

The Trustees of the Domanada Foundation will consider grant proposals from ministries which meet all of the following criteria:

  • Geographically located in Europe or the Chicago area.
  • Thematically focused on our three areas of emphasis: Theological Studies, Educational Ministry, or Business as Mission.
  • Strategically designed to build an organization's funding base, especially through matching grants or partnerships with other foundations, or focused on specific projects with clearly defined goals.
  • All grants must remain entirely anonymous.

The Domanada Foundation generally will not consider grant proposals which:

  • Provide funding that exceeds 5% of an organization's annual budget
  • Provide institutional support for larger non-profit organizations and ministries
  • Fund building projects or endowments
  • Provide salaries or personal support for specific individuals or families
  • Address financial problems within an organization
  • Include multi-year proposals

The Domanada Foundation can make a final determination regarding a grant proposal when the following is provided:

  1. A concise grant proposal.
A one-page executive summary must accompany the proposal. Include a brief description of the ministry or organization, the amount of the request, and the specific use of the requested funds.
  2. A copy of the organization's current annual budget and list of the Board of Directors.
  3. A copy of the organization's IRS 501(c) 3 designation letter.
