Our Mission
| Partnering with people and organizations to help them live-out God's call in their lives. |
The Domanada Foundation began in 1989 as a private foundation devoted to leveraging its human and financial resources to advance the cause of Jesus Christ. The Domanada Foundation seeks to help identify and obtain the educational, human, and financial resources necessary to support an organization in accomplishing its mission.
"Charity responds to the symptoms of the problems in society. Philanthropy responds to the root causes of the problems of a society." (Source unknown) This describes the objective of the Domanada Foundation; to use the gifts and resources of the foundation to address root causes-long-term, systemic issues-which impact ministry. The question we continually ask is "What can be done today to advance the cause of Christ in the decades to come?"
At a superficial level, the symptoms of the problems in society are easy to see, understand, and communicate; they include poverty, hunger, violence, racism, disease, and so forth. While these are all critical issues, they can normally be addressed through broad appeals to the Church and society. The root causes of these issues are difficult to understand, and even more difficult to address. The Domanada Foundation is committed to ministries whose aim is to address these systemic challenges.
